Typically, in accordance with a geotechnical evaluation the recommended foundation design is based upon the unique features found in the area of the home. There are many factors that influence the foundation design, including but not limited to the size of the house, weight, and the soils beneath the foundation. Only an engineer designing the foundation can determine if the erosion control that is provided can be utilized during rebuilding.
