Project Description
This project will make enhancements to the existing wastewater infrastructure in Lahaina, including planning, design and construction of a proposed gravity sewer system to service approximately 231 households, currently serviced by cesspools. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is providing direct technical assistance to support the County, including the County Department of Environmental Management, Department of Public Works and others as needed by developing documents necessary for construction. The intent of this technical assistance is to deliver the project "shovel ready" to the County for construction implementation. The EPA's Technical Assistance period of performance is approximately 18 months from contract award date.
